Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She was featured on QI, with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after appearing in small parts for Irish and British TV series starting in the year 2009. As early as 2012 Bea began appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. The actress began to appear regularly on panel shows after winning an award for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. In 2012 she became the only woman in history to win the So You Think That You're Funny award. The surname of Bea is in honor of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born woman. She was born the 16th of March, 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was just three years old, though she did not know how he died until she reached the age of 13. In honor of the man she loved, Bea adopted the stage-name Bea and in 2017, wrote an article about suicides and deaths that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and a former professional racer. Their family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a guide for The Irish National Stud in her young years. But she was aware, that racing wasn't what she wanted to do in a career and she preferred doing.
