Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German television and film actress famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At 16years old, she had landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed performance in the television film made for TV Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this female diva. Alexandra was involved in many notable projects, in both the US and abroad. They include the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French history mini-series Napoleon among others. Also, she was on juries at Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
